PENERIMAAN THL TB PENYULUH PERTANIAN 2008

Dalam rangka revitalisasi penyuluhan pertanian untuk mewujudkan visi pertanian modern berbasis iptek , berkeadilan dan berkelanjutan, Departemen Pertanian akan merekrut tenaga-tenaga (SDM) yang mampu melaksanakan tugas-tugas penyuluhan pertanian di desa-desa di seluruh Indonesia, dengan status sebagai Tenaga Harian Lepas (THL) Penyuluh Pertanian yang akan ditempatkan di kecamatan/desa di seluruh Indonesia. Penempatan Tenaga Harian Lepas (THL) tersebut akan mempertimbangkan kedudukan/domisili calon THL Penyuluh yang bersangkutan .

Bagi yang berminat, dapat mengajukan lamaran dengan ketentuan sbb:

A. Persyaratan:
1. Warga Negara Indonesia, pria atau wanita;
2. Usia maksimum 50 tahun per 31 Desember 2008;
3. Sehat jasmani dan rohani;
4. Berkelakuan baik;
5. Berpendidikan:

Tingkat pendidikan;Lulus SMK bidang pertanian dalam arti luas, kecuali perikanan dan kehutanan (SPMA, SPP, SNAKMA, STM-Pertanian, SMK Pertanian dan sejenisnya diutamakan yang mempunyai jurusan peternakan & perkebunan );Lulus Diploma (D-III, D-IV ) bidang pertanian dalam arti luas kecuali perikanan dan kehutanan;Lulus S-I bidang pertanian dalam arti luas kecuali perikanan dan kehutanan.
Dari sekolah/perguruan tinggi negeri atau swasta terakreditasi.
Nilai Indeks Prestasi Kumulatif (IPK) menjadi pertimbangan dalam seleksi administratif.
Diutamakan kepada pelamar yang telah memiliki pengalaman bekerja di bidang pertanian dalam arti luas kecuali perikanan dan kehutanan

B. Penerimaan Tenaga Harian Lepas Tenaga Bantu Penyuluh Pertanian dibuka untuk pelamar dari Propinsi seluruh wilayah Indonesia kecuali Propinsi DKI Jakarta, dan yang berasal dari Kota seluruh Indonesia karena jumlah THL TB Penyuluh Pertaniannya dianggap sudah mencukupi (berdasarkan data penyuluh yang ada).

C. Persyaratan lain:

Memiliki motivasi kerja tinggi untuk membangun pertanian melalui kegiatan penyuluhan;
Mampu bekerja keras dan dedikasi tinggi pada tugas-tugas penyuluhan pertanian;
Bersedia bekerja/ditempatkan di desa-desa di seluruh wilayah Indonesia;
Bersedia bekerja dengan status Pegawai Tidak Tetap dengan sistem kontrak dalam masa kerja tertentu maksimal (11 bulan dalam 1 tahun), dan dapat diperpanjang sesuai kebutuhan dan kemampuan dana yang tersedia dan maksimal dua kali masa perpanjangan kontrak ;
Tidak menuntut untuk diprioritaskan diangkat menjadi Pegawai Negeri Sipil;
Apabila terjadi pemutusan hubungan kerja, karena sesuatu hal, tidak akan menuntut pesangon atau ganti rugi di kemudian hari.
Bersedia mengikuti pelatihan sebelum melaksanakan tugas.

D. Jumlah Tenaga Bantu PP yang dibutuhkan 10.000 penyuluh terdiri :

Lulusan SMK pertanian sebanyak 4.000 orang;
Lulusan Diploma (D-III, D-IV ) sebanyak 1.000 orang;
Lulusan S-I sebanyak 5.000 orang.

E. Mekanisme Pelamaran:

Surat lamaran ditujukan kepada:Menteri Pertanian cq. Panitia Seleksi Tenaga Bantu Penyuluh Pertanian PO BOX 789 JKS 12001
Surat lamaran paling lambat diterima oleh Panitia seleksi THL TB Penyuluh Departemen Pertanian tanggal 10 September 2008 (tanggal pengiriman/cap pos) .
Setiap AMPLOP luar kanan atas wajib ditulis asal kabupaten dan propinsi pelamar
Surat lamaran ditulis tangan dengan , menggunakan tinta hitam dengan dibubuhi materai Rp 6.000 ’- dan dilampiri:
Daftar Riwayat Hidup;
Fotocopy Ijazah dan Transkrip Nilai yang dilegalisir oleh pejabat yang berwenang;
Pas Photo hitam putih ukuran 3x4 cm sebanyak 4 buah;
Surat Keterangan Dokter yang menyatakan sehat jasmani dan rohani;
Surat Keterangan Berkelakuan Baik dari Kepolisian;
Bersedia ditempatkan di desa-desa di seluruh wilayah Indonesia;
Surat lamaran beserta lampiran dimasukkan kedalam stopmap folio sbb:

Warna Biru untuk pendidikan S1.
Warna Hijau untuk pendidikan D-IV.
Warna Kuning untuk pendidikan D-III.
Warna Merah untuk pendidikan SLTA.

F. Seleksi dan Penetapan Tenaga Bantu:

Seluruh berkas lamaran akan diseleksi secara administratif;
Pelamar yang lulus seleksi administratif, akan dipanggil melalui internet /Website Departemen Pertanian untuk mengikuti seleksi/tes pengetahuan teknis pertanian, dan pengetahuan umum (secara tertulis) dan seleksi wawancara ;
Pelamar yang lulus seleksi/tes sebagaimana dimaksud dalam butir b akan diusulkan kepada Menteri Pertanian untuk diangkat/ditetapkan sebagai THL Tenaga Bantu Penyuluh Pertanian ;
Bagi pelamar THL TB Penyuluh yang lolos seleksi akan tetapi mempunyai Ijazah diluar SMK pertanian dan S1 pertanian seperti yang dipersyaratkan maka yang bersangkutan akan dibatalkan diangkat sebagai THL TB Penyuluh Pertanian ;
Pelamar yang lulus seleksi tertulis dan akan diangkat/ditetapkan sebagai Tenaga Bantu PP akan diumumkan melalui internet atau media massa paling lambat tanggal Minggu pertama bulan Nopember 2008;
Pelamar yang diangkat/ditetapkan sebagai Tenaga Bantu PP sebagaimana dimaksud dalam butir c, segera menandatangani Surat Perjanjian Kerja yang disediakan oleh panitia,
THL Tenaga Bantu Penyuluh Pertanian diharapkan dapat aktif bekerja mulai tanggal 1 Februari 2009.
Hasil/Keputusan Panitia seleksi tidak dapat diganggu gugat.
Apabila dalam penyelenggaraan seleksi ditemukan pelanggaran, agar segera dilaporkan disertai bukti-bukti otentik yang dapat dipertanggung jawabkan baik secara yuridis maupun administratif kepada Menteri Pertanian melalui Telp/Fax. 021-7804166

Situs Dephut dipalsukan ?

2 hari belakangan ini ramai dibicarakan mengenai situs dephut yang menurut beberapa media dipalsukan. Hal ini juga disiarkan melalui siaran pers Departemen Kehutanan yang menyebutkan bahwa situs www.dephut.com bukan milik Departemen Kehutanan karena situs resmi ada di alamat http://www.dephut.go.id. Mengherankan memang bagaimana hal ini bisa menjadi bahan yang ramai dibicarakan, apalagi banyak media cetak maupun elektronik membahas dengan gencar 2 hari belakangan.

Mengherankan karena ada beberapa fakta yang sebenarnya menggelitik saya untuk melakukan “investigasi” seperti yang biasa dilakukan Pakar Telematika :

Mencari data di whois dan ditemukan data bahwa domain didaftarkan di nameking.com sejak 13 November 2003 :

Saya coba gali lebih dalam, ternyata ada 1 blog yang menyebut dephut.com sebagai “seolah-olah” website miliknya : http://kosasieh.tripod.com/id11.html , coba baca kalimatnya :

jadi, aku akan banyak menyinggung masalah hutan terutama masalah konservasi(karena gw emang ambil jurusan ini). kehutanan merupakan suatu study terapan yang amat kompeks, bisa di bayangkan bahwa luas hutan di indonesia kian hari kian berkurang karena erbagai masalah yang amat kompleks pula. Jadi saya mengajak kepada pembaca untuk merenungi masalah kehutanan yang kompleks itu. untuk mengetahui berbagai masalah yang muncul dapat diperoleh di situs www.dephut.com

Apakah domain dephut.com dulunya dia yang melakukan registrasi ? Entahlah, tapi yang pasti dari data tentang dia, tahun 2003 dia adalah mahasiswa kehutanan di UGM, tahun dimana domain dephut.com didaftarkan.

Apakah dulu memang dephut.com didaftarkan untuk Departemen Kehutanan kemudian tidak dipakai lagi karena sudah berganti menjadi dephut.go.id ? Atau apakah “dia” yang saya duga diatas yang melakukan registrasi domain untuk memberikan informasi mengenai kehutanan seperti yang dia jelaskan ?

Dari fakta diatas maka saya menyimpulkan bahwa domain dephut.com dulunya memang didaftarkan oleh “seseorang” tahun 2003 dan saat ini tidak diperpanjang. Karena tidak diperpanjang maka biasanya domain yang sudah memiliki kedudukan di search engine yang bagus akan diregistrasi oleh pihak lain atau bahkan oleh unit usaha registrar itu sendiri (dalam hal ini nameking.com). Ini sudah “jamak terjadi dan sudah sering saya alami.

Diatas saya sebut mengherankan, karena kenapa baru disebut akhir-akhir ini padahal domain ini sudah berkibar sejak 2003. Apalagi saat ini, informasi yang diberikan hanya berbentuk informasi pencarian dari http://searchportal.information.com/ yang hasilnya tidak berhubungan dengan DepHut, jadi untuk apa bersikap seperti kecolongan/kebakaran hutan ? Toh di situs itu tidak ada yang menyebutkan bahwa ini adalah situs dephut meskipun beberapa judulnya menyebutkan ilegal logging maupun lowongan cpns dephut yang kalau di klik maka hasilnya ke halaman lain hasil pencarian yang “sekali lagi” isinya tidak berhubungan dengan departemen kehutanan ?

Jadi kesimpulan akhir saya, situs dephut tidak dipalsukan seperti situs klikbca.com yang dulu pernah dipalsukan dengan kelikbca.com yang isinya sama dengan aslinya. Kasus dephut.com ini bukan pemalsuan!! Ini hanyalah kasus domain yang diparkir ke dalam sistem yang memiliki search engine relevant seperti kalau anda parkir domain anda ke sedo.com dimana domain yang anda parkir akan menampilkan data sesuai nama domain dan kategori domain.

Hal ini sama dengan domain blitarkoi.info yang dulunya dimiliki Dinas Pertanian Kota Blitar yang berisi informasi ikan koi, saat ini domain sudah dimiliki pihak lain karena tidak diperpanjang dan isinya adalah tidak berhubungan dengan ikan koi dari blitar tetapi sama seperti dephut.com, hanya berisi link ke portal pencarian.

Sekali lagi…. TIDAK ADA UNSUR PEMALSUAN DI DEPHUT.COM !!

Green roofs gain in popularity in big cities as environmentally friendly industry comes into its own

The Washington Nationals' new baseball stadium opened the 2008 season with one. Vancouver's 2010 Winter Olympics will feature many more. And earlier this year Minneapolis decreed that the city's voluminous Target Center arena will have one too.

Suddenly, green roofs are sprouting across North America. Designed to curb air pollution, decrease energy expenses and reduce storm runoff, the environmentally friendly assemblies are adding a decidedly earthy element to urban skylines — a sign that the green roof industry is rapidly coming into its own.

Particularly in cities, the rise of roof-topping grasses, succulents and other vegetation is fueling a boom for landscape architects, growers, builders and consultants in the know. As the roofs bloom in size and number, cities are weighing new incentives to developers and owners to install the admittedly costly growing medium and plant life as a long-term investment that could benefit both businesses and surrounding communities. And with a strengthening infrastructure to support them, designers are branching out in new directions.

Steven Peck, founder and president of the Toronto-based industry association Green Roofs for Healthy Cities, said the industry's "mother ship" hails from Europe, particularly Germany. Research there in the 1970s on lightweight, low-maintenance green roof systems dominated by hardy sedum grasses, he said, "opened up thousands of miles of roofscapes that had been unavailable to any sort of greenery."

German policymakers quickly took notice of the advantages, including the potential to reduce both stormwater runoff and the urban heat island effect associated with asphalt, concrete and metal surfaces. In response, they created dozens of incentives and regulations encouraging more green roof construction. In the mid-'90s, a European industry mostly dominated by French and German firms began expanding into North America and introducing the basic concepts to a new generation of specialists.

Peck, himself introduced to the idea in 1997, was tasked with leading a federal study on its benefits and barriers in Canada, only to find that there was little scientific information available for North America. "There was no proof, it was all in German academic studies," he said.

One of his committee member spent hours translating many of the studies into English. And even those reports sidestepped analysis of big-picture benefits that had been largely taken for granted.

A decade later, the industry has been buttressed by research and case studies detailing both individual benefits like savings on cooling costs and enhanced commercial values, and bigger-picture pluses like reduced air pollution and storm water overflows.

Another essential element has been building expertise across a talent pool that remains unevenly distributed. Peck's group has been working for five years on an accreditation program modeled in part on LEED certification (Leadership in Environmental Energy and Design). The new Green Roof Professional, or GRP system, should roll out sometime next year, he said. In the meantime, Green Roofs for Healthy Cities has grown to include more than 80 corporate members and has trained more than 4,500 individuals. "You can't have an industry unless you can have people who can design and deliver," he said.

Most green roofs still feature sedum and ice plant succulents, which can tolerate harsh growing conditions and are ideally suited for low-maintenance rooftops. These "extensive" roofs, as they're known, require only a few inches of growing medium, reducing overall weight and cost.

John Shepley, co-owner of Maryland's Emory Knoll Farms with industry leader Ed Snodgrass, said business is booming at their green roof plant nursery, based on a former dairy farm. "We're probably growing 50 percent annually without trying," Shepley said. Although Washington, D.C., and New York City remain big markets, he said, the federal government has been coming on strong with new mandates for green buildings.

In mid-March, Shepley delivered pregrown sedum plugs to cover a concessions area at the new Washington Nationals baseball stadium. Two years ago, the business helped install thousands more grass plugs on a massive green roof for a Library of Congress facility in Culpepper, Va.

As green roof technology matures, new projects have begun unveiling increasingly varied designs, including "intensive" roofs that require deeper growing depths and considerably more investment but can deliver more aesthetic, conservation and other benefits. Chicago's $480 million Millennium Park, a 24.5-acre cap over rail yards and a parking garage, is one of the world's largest intensive green roofs to date. An award winner from Green Roofs for Healthy Cities, the project has all the advantages of a major urban park, Peck maintains.

Considered the industry frontrunner among North American cities, Chicago used a mix of intensive and extensive vegetation to cover 20,000 square feet atop its City Hall in 2001. In August of that year, researchers recorded a rooftop temperature of 119 degrees in the planted area, compared with a blistering 169 degrees on an adjoining black tar roof. Since then, the green roof has saved the city an estimated $3,600 in annual cooling and heating costs. If all Chicago roofs were similarly clad, city officials believe peak energy demand could be cut by 720 megawatts, or enough electricity for 750,000 consumers. Similarly, the load on the city's storm sewer system could be slashed by roughly 70 percent.

Chicago is now adding green roofs to everything from office buildings to fire stations, and city governments in Toronto, Minneapolis and Seattle are following suit.

Other city-based incentives, popular in Chicago and Portland, give developers extra floor space if they add green roofs, and fast-track programs are rewarding environmentally conscious projects with a front-of-the-line approval process.

Washington, D.C., which has long struggled to control storm-water overflows into the Potomac and Anacostia Rivers, is moving toward a system that will account for impervious building surfaces that increase runoff when assessing water consumption fees. Adding more water-retaining surfaces, including green roofs, will effectively lower a building owner's city fees. Beyond relieving the impact of development, the measure is designed to encourage both public and private-sector investment into runoff-reduction technology.

Nevertheless, Mark Thomann, design director at the New York landscape design firm Balmori Associates, said high construction costs, a lack of government support, and limited expert availability are still combining to thwart many ambitious green roof plans. "We imagined doing 50 of these a year, and the reality is we do one to two a year," he said. In cities like New York, zoning laws haven't yet accounted for green roofs, relegating them to awkward spaces between traditional buildings and landscaping. Plant specialists, Thomann said, often don't have the equipment for roof access, whereas contractors often don't know enough about plant-friendly construction practices.

Even so, his firm has been trying to push the envelope on design. "Most of the green roofs have been flat green surfaces, which are great, but we've been looking at different ways of making those roofs three-dimensional," Thomann said. One of his company's completed projects, the roof of New York's Earth Pledge Foundation, features a vegetable garden.

Other design firms are teaming up with ecologists to build roofs that incorporate hollows, small cliffs, scattered rocks, dead wood and varied vegetation to mimic everything from riverbanks to high mountain meadows. The result has been a surprising burst in habitat for urban wildlife —and more aesthetically interesting roofscapes that building owners can use to attract human tenants as well.

Endangered beetles and spiders have found refuges in Basel, Switzerland, where a city mandate requires green roofs to accompany all new flat-roofed buildings. Endangered rooftop orchids thrive in nearby Zurich, while London has created new habitats for its small population of black redstart birds with crushed-brick "brown roofs" that mimic the derelict urban sites they favor. And in San Francisco, several acres' worth of dramatically sloping rooftop on the California Academy of Sciences have been designed as native habitat for the threatened bay checkerspot butterfly.

In New York, a planned visitors' center at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden is allowing staff to likewise experiment with a wide range of vegetation that might work as "living roof" plantings to fit the building's sinuous profile. Patrick Cullina, the garden's vice president of horticulture and science research, pointed out that green roofs need not be monolithic, especially ones that are meant to be seen.

The rooftop garden on Bill Clinton's Presidential Library in Little Rock, Ark., includes yellow roses, a sentimental favorite. Cullina hopes the more publicly accessible Brooklyn rooftop will include visually interesting colors all year long. He also hopes to challenge the paradigm of which plants can be used in a living roof system, using nearby seashore and pine barren environments as inspiration.

Moving beyond simple cost-benefit calculations can pay particular dividends for an institution hoping to marry aesthetics, research and community leadership. It helps when a chartreuse rooftop grass turns a particularly vivid shade of reddish-orange during an otherwise dreary New York winter.

Road map to the future: A new generation of concrete pavements is coming of age, thanks in part to an innovative, long-term CPTP plan for research and technology

Envisioning what we want concrete pavements to look like in the next 20, 50, or 100 years and developing a long-term research plan to make the vision a reality will require the industry to examine itself closely--and perhaps even redefine itself.

How can we narrow the gap between the design life expectancy and the actual life of concrete pavements?

Why is concrete consistently perceived as the more expensive alternative?

Can concrete compete as a reliable, cost-effective, short-term paving alternative?

Can concrete be a 100-year pavement?

Can we construct concrete pavements that meet lighter operational demands and tough budget restrictions?

Can new technologies or processes make today's marginal mix materials, such as low-grade aggregates, tomorrow's useful materials?

These and other questions are guiding a national project to develop a far-reaching road map to tomorrow's concrete pavements. Under the Transportation Equity Act for the 21st Century (TEA-21), Congress authorized the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) to undertake a significant research program to improve the performance of concrete pavements. A Long-Term Plan for Concrete Pavement Research and Technology is being developed through the Concrete Pavement Technology Program (CPTP).The CPTP selected an Iowa State University-led team of program planners, university researchers, engineering consultants, and practitioners from industry and public agencies to create the plan.

Why Another Research Plan?

In recent years several groups have conducted or sponsored pivotal research programs that continue to have significant impact on the concrete paving community. Consider, for example, the possible ramifications of ultra-high-performance concrete pavement, currently being evaluated at FHWA's Turner-Fairbank Highway Research Center in McLean, VA. This steel fiber-reinforced product typically displays twice the compressive strength of high-performance concretes now used in the United States.

The Transportation Research Board, American Concrete Pavement Association, American Association of State Highway Transportation officials, and FHWA's Long-Term Pavement Performance Program also have conducted research that will lay the foundation for CPTP's new long-term research plan.

Nevertheless, the CPTP plan will be unlike any other. Broad in scope and vision, it will guide investigations into innovative technologies, processes, and systems that result in superior concrete paving solutions for 21st century needs and budgets.

Desirable Pavement Characteristics

The long-term research plan will be the product of extensive input from stakeholder representatives from Federal, State, and local agencies; contractors, suppliers, and consultants; professional associations; and academia, particularly those conducting applied research. At regional workshops, these stakeholders are helping to envision concrete pavements of the future and identify their desirable characteristics.

The value of the long-term research plan will depend on the vision and practicality of stakeholders' input regarding desirable characteristics, and the integrity and thoroughness with which the team identifies and prioritizes needed research.

Many characteristics identified to date are easy to agree on: (1) stable, long-lived joints; (2) quiet, safe, comfortable ride; (3) low permeability; (4) initial designs that consider future rehabilitation; (5) high reliability (predictable performance); and (6) environmental friendliness.

Other pavement characteristics are generating more discussion. One nontraditional characteristic is the level(s) of service future concrete pavements could or should provide. Do we want a menu of cost-effective, reliable concrete pavements--"mixes of fixes"--that serve a variety of needs and design lives? Only research can tell us if such a menu is feasible. But, first, stakeholders must decide if mixes of fixes are part of their vision for the next generation of concrete pavements.

Performance-Based Research

The planning team is convinced that desirable characteristics to improve pavement performance and more accurately predict the length of a pavement's life can become cost-effective realities only if they are developed through a performance-based process. Such a process is cyclical, based on identifying and measuring performance criteria, or performance predictors, for various elements of a paving system.

In a performance-based process, pavement designs, mixes, and construction and maintenance practices are developed and applied. Performance is measured during and after mixing and construction to determine to what extent optimums were missed and adjustments are needed. Additional research is conducted to further improve designs, mixes, and construction and maintenance practices.

This research cycle of trial, error, improvement, and early discovery and rehabilitation of performance problems results in performance-based pavements, concrete pavements that are not over-or under-built. Such a cycle requires reliable, accurate performance-based measurement and prediction tools to ensure that the best materials are used, reduce initial costs, improve pavement reliability, reduce eventual maintenance and repair costs, and provide for future rehabilitation of the pavement (through its use as a subbase, for example).

Software Notebook: Color is key to Microsoft's next-generation bar code

Microsoft Corp. is getting into the business of bar codes. But these aren't your typical black-and-white stripes.

The company has developed a new type of bar code that uses multiple colors and triangular shapes to store more data per square inch than possible with the traditional approach.

The High Capacity Color Barcodes are expected to start showing up on DVD discs later this year, under a licensing deal between Microsoft and the agency that coordinates the International Standard Audiovisual Number system, or ISAN, the counterpart to the ISBN system used for books.

Microsoft says the idea isn't to replace the traditional UPC barcodes used in checkout lines, but to supplement them.

"It's more of a 'partner' bar code," said Gavin Jancke, the Microsoft Research engineering director who invented the High Capacity Color Barcode. "The UPC bar codes will always be there. Ours is more of a niche bar code where you want to put a lot of information in a small space."

Media publishers will be able to use the high-capacity bar codes to store extra identifying data about the product and implement new anti-counterfeiting measures that will be incorporated invisibly into the bar codes.

In addition, the company says consumers will be able to scan the high-capacity bar codes with Web cams and eventually with mobile-phone cameras. Once the bar code is read, using special software, consumers will be connected to online services that will provide extra information about the product -- such as a DVD rating, soundtrack details or related products.

The capacity of the new bar codes will depend on factors including the number of colors used and the amount of triangles squeezed into the space, Jancke said. Using four colors, at a triangle size that can be read by a good imaging device, the High Capacity Color Barcodes will hold about two times more data than traditional bar codes do. If the High Capacity Barcodes are designed to be read by the lower-quality cameras on mobile phones, as with the ISAN system, the capacity will be somewhat less.

Microsoft declined to disclose financial terms of the agreement with the ISAN International Agency. The PC and mobile-phone software needed to read the high-capacity bar codes will be available for free, Jancke said. The PC-based software will work initially on Windows, he said, but people using other operating systems will be able to decode the bar codes using online services.

Because of Microsoft's dominance of PC operating systems and productivity software, the company's moves into new areas are sometimes resisted by industry players wary of giving it more clout.

But Patrick Attallah, the chief executive of the ISAN International Agency, said he wasn't concerned about licensing the new Microsoft bar code technology. He cited its benefits and noted the role of the agency is not to mandate its use but to make it available through ISAN organizations around the world.

It's ultimately up to the media publishers to decide whether to use the bar codes. The first organization to implement the High Capacity Color Barcode technology is expected to be SecurePath Technology, the Hollywood-based ISAN registration agency.

"Definitely in Hollywood, I would say that the majority of DVDs that come out of there will have it," Microsoft's Jancke said, explaining that SecurePath wants to build "a big ecosystem" around the bar code.

It is conventional wisdom that the motorcycle industry is worried about the demographic shift of the oldest baby boomers (born in 1946) hitting the United States legal retirement age of 65. As boomers or boomies retire, their older children called Generation X (born 1965 to 1980) and younger ones called Generation Y (born 1980 to 1995) are or will take major roles in our society. So, what’s our industry is doing to tap this vast potential market? Sadly, almost nothing. Do you know of any motorcycle manufacturer, print magazine, motorcycle TV show or motorcycle rally making real efforts to adjust to these 2 new generations whose taste, language and entertainment is quite different from the one of the baby boomers. Xers and Yers have their own specificities, but both were raised front of television, playing Atari 2600 or World Of Warcraft, doing their homework on a computer and socializing through internet social networks like MySpace. In addition to have raised 2 boys belonging 1 to the Xers and 1 to the Yers, I have a lot of interactions with the new generations and I know for sure that they spend more time surfing the web than watching TV, and more time enjoying HD movies than they will ever reading paper magazines. We cannot expect that all children born in a biker family are going to be bikers. And even if it would be the case, it will never be enough to support our industry. I have no doubt that the baby boomers children can acquire our taste and love for the sport of motorcycling. But they are not exposed to it because our industry exclusively “talks” to us, never to them, and never in a place or media where we would get a chance that they listen and fall in love with bikes like I did when I was 18. Let’s take Internet, the meeting place of these 2 new generations. Motorcycle print magazines limit their online presence to a “giant business card” with a few titles and pictures. But in no way they are full and complete interactive online magazines. Consequently their traffic is extremely low and much lower than any improvised website whose author is a biker dude sitting in his kitchen and publishing aggregated motorcycle news copied from other websites. I am an Internet publisher and I believe in the “word of mouse” to extend my passion for motorcycles to others, I don’t understand why my friends and fellow print publishers still don’t recognize it. Major newspapers and magazines were able to have both a successful and profitable simultaneous print and online presence. Why not us?

Even as their supply of new programs dwindles during the months-long writers' strike, major TV networks continue to try to capture online viewers.

Streaming free full-length episodes on their own websites was just the beginning. Episodes from ABC, CBS, Fox and NBC are showing up on an assortment of sites, from big destinations such as AOL to newcomers Veoh and MeeVee.

Signs are that time spent watching video — not just snacks à la YouTube, but full episodes — is increasing. The number of broadband users who watched full shows online weekly doubled in 2007 from 8% to 16%, says market research firm Horowitz Associates.

Embracing the Web is "an acknowledgement that this is real (and networks) have a business model and can monetize it and make it part of their growth," Howard Horowitz says.

By giving consumers online access, networks have learned they can reinforce viewer devotion. "This is mostly driven by TV audiences who missed (an episode) and want to watch it on their computer," says Shelly Palmer, author of Television Disrupted: The Transition From Network to Networked TV. "I don't think NBC or ABC is caring where you watch as long as they can count on you."

Traffic on Veoh.com, which recently sealed a deal to add MTV to an array of CBS, Fox and NBC series, rose 24% during the last three months of 2007; 40% comes during traditional TV prime-time hours, says Veoh's Dmitry Shapiro. "That is a very telling and important statistic. It's the same content they can find on TV, but they feel they have more control."

Traffic tracking firm ComScore found online viewers watched an average 3¼ hours in November, 29% more than January 2007, though YouTube and MySpace dominate, says analyst Andrew Lipsman.

A growing number of sites, including MeeVee, seek to not only connect viewers with full episodes but also offer TiVo-style recommendations and direct them to offline diversions.

"There is a lot of content out there," says Amy Banse of Comcast, which just started Fancast.com with CBS, NBC and Fox shows, among others. "Some of it lives in movie theaters, some on television, some in video on demand and some on the Internet, but it's hard to find. We wanted to create a tool (for) people to find what they are looking for regardless of platform or screen."

Any traffic caused by strike-dissatisfied viewers accelerates the long-term move to online, says Alex Patriquin of Web analysis firm Compete. "The race to become the destination for TV episodes online is very much an emerging market."

Fancast.com

Description: Online since last summer but formally announced last week by cable giant Comcast, Fancast has more than 3,000 hours of shows, including Jericho (CBS), Bones (Fox) and 30 Rock (NBC), as well as Bravo and Sci Fi programs. Can be personalized for your cable or satellite networks.

Experience: TV series have their own home pages with episode guides; the CBS Jericho page, for example, tells you there are 22 episodes on Fancast and several will air on Universal HD next week, and it links to areas on Amazon Unbox, iTunes and NetFlix. A short ad runs before the episode begins. Enlarged to full-screen, the video gets slightly fuzzier. A neat "Six Degrees" function suggests other shows that Jericho actors appeared in and that have similar themes.

Expert says: "It really looks good," says Alex Patriquin of Web analysis firm Compete. "It's got all the cool shows Hulu has to offer and a few extras, and it's doing quite well. They had almost 450,000 visitors in December, so it's off to a very strong start."

Description: More than a video-rich website, Hulu is the online distribution service launched three months ago by NBC Universal and News Corp. (Fox). Its content can be found as well on AOL, Fancast, MSN, MySpace and Yahoo. Episodes range from recent Fox and NBC shows to older series including Firefly, Kojak and Miami Vice. Videos can be sent via e-mail or embedded into personal websites.

Experience: You request to join the beta trial, and once invited, you create a profile and start browsing episodes organized by genre or studio/network. An episode of The Office begins after a message from a sponsor. Two additional ads run during the widescreen episode. Afterward, a link to buy the episode connects you to Amazon Unbox, which sells $1.99 downloads. Hulu offers five other Office episodes and numerous clips.

Expert says: "It remains to be seen if it will end up as a destination among the broader online audience," Patriquin says. "They certainly have a wealth of content that is probably unmatched in terms of high production-value content."

Joost.com

Description: Since opening to all users in beta test form last fall, Joost (from the creators of Net phone service Skype) has added nearly every episode of the original Star Trek along with programs from PBS and the NBA to its 20,000-plus shows, from CBS (including the recent Comanche Moon), Cartoon Network, Comedy Central and MTV. Each show has a chat room; send links to clips and episodes to friends.

Experience: Install software (a 26-megabyte download) and set up a profile. Then explore shows by type, alphabetically or search word. Click to play, or a "+" icon adds it to a channel you program. A short commercial plays and a small opaque ad appears in the lower-right corner of the screen for a few seconds. Video quality is good, a bit better than CBS.com's own video. A widget menu brings up a news ticker and lets you enter chat rooms.

Expert says: Patriquin wonders whether people want "a higher picture quality, which you have to jump through a hoop to get (having to download the software) or do you want to depend on Internet connectivity?"

MeeVee.com

Description: Launched more than two years ago as a TV listings and search engine, MeeVee has evolved into a full-scale video hub for shows from ABC, CBS, Fox and CW. Its customizable guide tracks favorites (actors, directors and hobbies) and creates a printable schedule and widget that can be posted on your blog. MeeVee blogs address TV issues and let users comment on topics and episodes.

Experience: Great-looking, but not everything worked smoothly: A link to NBC's Friday Night Lights actually led to NBC.com's page for Black Donnellys. Hit the "Watch Other Shows" option and eventually find 34 episodes to choose from. A movie trailer played before the episode, which has sharp video but loses some clarity at full-screen. Connections to ABC, CBS, CW and Fox shows worked smoothly.

Expert says: "They have this discovery and organization that a lot of the other sites lack. They are trying to be the online television guide," Patriquin says. "MeeVee's strategy of enabling a community of people to communicate on bulletin boards could be very effective."

Veoh.com

Description: Originally a YouTube competitor, Veoh has expanded its ambitions into becoming an aggregator of network programming (CBS, Fox, NBC), as well as other professionally produced material such as Prom Queen, made for the Net by Michael Eisner's company, Vuguru. A recent deal with Viacom will lead to the addition of The Daily Show With Jon Stewart and The Hills. Veoh also has a download video recorder that lets you save shows on your laptop or PC.

Experience: A TV Shows folder on the site opens up to show a menu of your favorites. About 100 series offer three to 20 episodes each; for 24, Veoh offers five episodes each from Seasons 1 and 6. Episodes start after a short ad and can be expanded to full-screen, fine for PC watching. You can fast-forward but must watch additional ads for each episode. Viewers can comment on the episodes and post them on Facebook or e-mail to friends.

Expert says: "Veoh has grown a niche for itself to be an online, always-on destination to watch episodes," Patriquin says. "Their traffic is up about 2,000% since 2006."

MySpace.com/primetime

Description: Last month, MySpace launched this hub with full-length shows from NBC and Fox, plus classics such as Buck Rogers, The Mary Tyler Moore Show and Kojak ("powered by Hulu") and exclusive series such as Roommates.

Experience: Playing episodes is not quite intuitive. A long list of available series resides below several shows and movies promoted at the top of the page; click on a show name such as Kojak, and a new page with a video window pops up. But you must click the episode title to open yet another page to start playing. And this is a no-frills viewer: You cannot resize the video or move it from the page. Ten-second ads play every 10 minutes or so. Video is watchable but grainy. Social networking features allow you to approve ("Booyah!") or disapprove ("No way!"), add comments, send bulletins to MySpace friends and post to your blog.

Expert says: "MySpace probably has the strongest platform of any of the video sites," Patriquin says. "I don't believe it's become known as a destination for episodes yet, but it has the most potential because of its user base."

Description: AOL remains one of the largest content portals online, and in addition to its IN2TV library of classic TV shows, the site helps direct users to full episodes, too. The page at television.aol.com/video highlights full episodes from all major networks — ABC (Ugly Betty), CBS (CSI) Fox (The Simpsons), NBC (The Office) — and displays a list of offered shows.

Experience: Intuitive? Not so much. Even though Heroes is spotlighted as having full episodes, none are to be found. To reach some series episodes, you must click and scroll through pages. After clicking on a full episode of American Gladiators, the show launched, after a short ad, in a small window that couldn't be resized. The same thing happened with an episode of Bones found through the video search engine. (For each, a link offers to send you to Hulu.) But CBS' CSI: New York could be expanded, and with ABC shows, you're sent to dynamic.abc.com to see a fully resizable window to watch, say, Big Shots, probably the best video experience of all.

Expert says: "It's bringing in content from a lot of different sites," Patriquin says. "By and large they have been able to retain their brand name and their users' loyalty through improvements, and video is certainly one of the leading ones."

Yahoo (tv.yahoo.com)

Description: Along with TV listings and news and features, the portal's TV beta service has a list of 40 shows including 30 Rock, Battlestar Galactica, Chuck, Heroes, House, Prison Break and The Simpsons.

Experience: Each show has several full episodes and preview clips. Once you find a show, it begins playing quickly. However, you cannot resize the no-frills player and its video even looks jagged with low-fi Simpsons episodes. Two short ads play during the episode, and Nissan ads play during a Heroes episode. Yahoo TV also notes when episodes play on TV.

Expert says: "Yahoo has huge traffic volume. It really needs to prove itself because it's under so much pressure," Patriquin says. "It does not have a lot of programs now. It's more of a television-guide site.

Some people have had difficulty getting to grips with the Optic engine, so I have thought I'd do a tutorial which runs through step-by-step on making a lens flare, and also includes a bit of tech info along the way.

The lens flare I have created has been added to the presets library which I will link to at the end. I haven't included all the settings but rather given you a general overview about specific parts, so download the preset after you're done reading to see for yourself how it all ticks.

This tutorial applies EffectsLab DV, EffectsLab Pro and VisionLab HD. I'm using EffectsLab Pro specifically to create the tutorial and preset.

1. Locate the 'Effect' tab and add an Optic engine to the canvas, you can do this by double clicking on it or click+drag onto the canvas or the timeline.

2. Click on the 'Optic movement' track on the timeline. You will notice a square box 'handle' appears on the canvas. This is the origin for the lens flare. Currently it is located in the center of the canvas, click and drag it to move it near one of the edges, I've placed mine in the top left, but basically move it away from the center to begin.

Traditionally seen as a pediatric condition, adhd was only recently recognized as an adult disability. Ten years ago, doctors and educators assumed that children who exhibited symptoms would grow out of it by puberty. In reality, researchers now estimate that up to 60-70% of those affected as children will continue to experience symptoms.

Individuals typically exhibit short (but sometimes extraordinarily intense) attention spans, have difficulty getting along with others, and incur high rates of divorce, traffic accidents and substance abuse (perhaps from a misguided attempt to "self-medicate" with stimulants or other drugs).

adhd can be treated with medication, therapy or a combination of these. Studies show that bimodal or combination therapy yields the best results. (Footnote: Dodson, B., "Update on attention deficit disorder in adults." Paper presented at the Southern Physicians Association Annual Meeting, New Orleans, Sept. 26, 1996.) The main medications used to treat adhd are stimulants (Ritalin, Dexedrine or Adderall) and anti-depressants (Prozac, Paxil, Zoloft, Wellbutrin or tricyclic anti-depressants). Although many of these medications have received a bad rap from the media and special-interest groups, current studies have shown them to be safe when their use is monitored by a qualified provider.

The addiction potential for the stimulants normally occurs at doses much higher than those prescribed for adhd, so fire service personnel who take these medications should be able to perform all their assigned duties. Furthermore, federal law requires that physicians closely monitor the use of these medications, and prescriptions for stimulants must be personally handed to the patient. Phone, fax or mail-in refill orders aren't acceptable.

ADHD in the fire service There's little data concerning adhd in the fire/ems community, which is particularly unfortunate since preliminary research indicates that this condition might be three times more common among firefighters than among the general populace.

This lack of information spells potential trouble for fire departments. First, left untreated, affected individuals could compromise their job performance and personal safety. Second, departments may be losing good firefighters who, if properly assessed, could realize their full potential and become outstanding employees.

There's a third reason, too. The intense, fast-paced world of the fire service is practically tailor-made for someone who craves, for example, constant change and adrenaline-producing situations. In turn, people with adhd often naturally exhibit the personality characteristics - such as creativity, risk-taking and quick decision-making - that are required of the best firefighters and emts. That "made for each other" theory is an interesting one, observes Lisa Weyandt, one of the nation's leading researchers in adhd. It goes hand-in-hand with those seeking to explore the benefits of a neurological condition long seen as mostly problem-filled.

"People are saying, 'If you can just channel that, if you can find a career to fit their symptoms, it can be an advantage,'" says Weyandt, a professor of psychology at Central Washington University, Ellensburg, Wash. "What we don't know is if there are certain careers that people [with this condition] are drawn to and are doing really well in. That hasn't been looked at."

Over the years, researchers have made some findings about the types of work to which adults with adhd tend to be attracted. They include high-intensity work environments, manual-labor jobs and self-employment, reasonable choices for those who commonly exhibit restlessness, an aversion to boredom and difficulty working with others.

The fire service provides several avenues to put the disorder's positive characteristics to good use. Both firefighting and ems work demand the ability to make rapid decisions, shift seamlessly from call to call, and monitor or perform activities on several fronts. They also require the courage to put oneself in stressful, even dangerous, situations and the physical and/or intellectual strength needed to perform difficult tasks or intensive interaction with another person.

For individuals with adhd who have difficulty "staying on task" and managing their time effectively, a fire department's paramilitary structure provides a much-needed organizational framework and optimizes their chances of experiencing success. Structure is provided in many ways. Everyone dresses in much the same way. There are daily maintenance and operation checklists and protocols to adhere to. The ranked power structure is clearly defined and consistent. Rank-and-file firefighters get close, almost individualized supervision, enhancing the possibility that unproductive work habits will be noted, and corrected, quickly.

For a person who has difficulty following directions (as well as starting and completing long-term projects) frequent oversight helps keep him or her on track and performing effectively. Clearly defined, short-term goals presented by the call-by-call nature of the work present repeated opportunities for success. Unfortunately, any theories about whether public safety work attracts an inordinate number of adults with adhd, and whether their symptoms can function to their (and the profession's) advantage, must remain, for now, conjecture.

"There has not been a study done, as far as I know, on career choice," says Dr. Michael Camfield, a neuropsychologist with Boulder, Colo.-based Neuropsychological Consultants. "When I think of the ideal job for someone with adhd, it would be one with a lot of change, a chance to work independently, and a lot of latitude. Someone who travels a lot, meets a lot of people."

"There is a tremendous amount about adult adhd that we don't know," adds Weyandt. "That's why you're hearing these different theories."

An initial study It's one thing to have these anecdotal reports, however, and it's another thing to prove something scientifically. Quite simply, more research must be done. As part of a National Fire Academy Executive Fire Officer Applied Research Project, I tried to determine if the rate of adhd might be higher among fire service personnel than among the general population. As a control, 12 published adhd works were reviewed and a mean percentage was obtained. While not precise, it was appropriate for beginning research.

Another interesting finding was the scores for female participants. Of 39 women who participated, three (7.67%) answered yes for 12 or more traits. which revealed a 2.5 to 1 male/female ratio. Although estimates in the literature of the male/female ratio have gone as high as 9 to 1, the National Institute of Mental Health suggests 2 to 1 or 3 to 1. This finding, therefore, although not statistically significant, is in line with current adhd research.

More than 50% of those surveyed indicated that they identified with eight or more traits. The highest self-reported traits included:

* a frequent search for stimulation;

* a tendency to be creative, intuitive and highly intelligent;

* impatience, with low tolerance for frustration;

* an inability to gauge the impact they have on others; and

* other family members who exhibit similar behaviors.

These results have led me to continue this research as part of my doctoral studies. This study is comparing fire service professionals to non-public safety professionals. The results of this research should be available this fall.

Responding to ADHD Of course, how fire departments eventually respond to personnel with adhd is an emotional, economic and legal issue. Departments that refuse to address the issue of an employee with possible attention deficit hyperactivity disorder risk damage, perhaps resulting from substance abuse, to department property or injury to personnel. Those who fire a "problem" employee without exploring the reasons behind his or her unacceptable behavior risk losing an otherwise talented, dedicated firefighter.

And departments that refuse to reasonably accommodate an employee with such a disability risk costly litigation, because adhd is protected under the Americans with Disabilities Act. Since many departments have training facilities, they must be able to accommodate the academic challenges presented by a firefighter with adhd internally, or be able to find the means to do it elsewhere in the community.

Identifying firefighters and emts who may have adhd, and working with them to identify and eliminate negative behaviors, will take more time than simply writing them up for misbehavior or inconsistent work performance. But identification leads to education about treatments and behavior modification, and that, in turn, may lead to happier, healthier, more productive employees. It's the proverbial win-win situation.

A major confounding issue is using adhd as an excuse for poor performance or behavior. adhd care providers and coaches agree that adhd may be a condition, but it isn't an excuse. Those with adhd must still meet all standards of performance and behavior required by their department. Knowing that they have adhd may motivate employees to seek out the technologies needed to effect change.6 As noted, the traditional structure and supervision that are part of the fire service may themselves be therapeutic.

Ten years ago WH had an EA/PA with a waitress he met while on a business trip. Even though he'd only known her a few days and she lived onethousand and fivehundred miles away, he left me to live on his own and be with her. For months I shamelessly chased him like you wouldn't believe (including even breaking into his apartment ). NOTHING worked. He pushed for D and I eventually gave up, signed the D papers and tried to get on with my life. About a month later he shows up sobbing about how he's made such a mistake, couldn't file the D papers, and wanted me back. Sounds good, but when I asked about OW he said she was a bitch and wouldn't let him go out with his friends, etc. Basically after two weeks of her living with him reality hit and he "realized" what he'd lost. He did say that he was already doubting his decision before she actually moved in with him and I did talk to her afterwards (just to confirm that they were through) and she just kept saying that he loves ME. But I always wonder, what if she HADN'T have turned out to be a bitch? Would he still have "come to his senses"?

Last year he got a little too friendly with a female ex-coworker of his. Occassional emails turned into IMing for hours nightly after I went to bed. Never saw the contents of those IMs, but he said nothing sexual ever happened (he said "ew") and I found tons of emails, which were "innocent" enough. Nothing to even hint at him being "interested" in her. But he did go with her to the movies alone one night "because nobody else could go" and nothing happened. Just friends. I DO believe he was never interested in her or at least physically attracted to her, but he lied about their relationship and apparently snuck around behind my back. She only recently confessed to him that she "has feelings" for him (which I told him and he didn't believe).

So basically even with our history (his EA/PA years ago), he was willing to lie and sneek around for someone HE WASN'T EVEN INTERESTED IN. He says he lied because he knew I'd freak out and think something was going on and he was being selfish and didn't want to give up the friendship when he knew it wasn't "wrong". So what if she WASN'T unattractive? What happens if someone who IS attractive shows him attention?

I just don't know how to get past these "what if's"!!!!

HE WEARS A KILT, PLAYS THE bagpipes, and although he may not have the size of some of the mammoth wrestlers who he has faced in his 30-plus years in ring, there's no denying that Rowdy Roddy Piper is one of the biggest names in the history of wrestling.

Born Roderick Toombs on April 17, 1954, in Sakatoon, Saskatchewan, Piper took up wrestling when he was only 15 as a way to stay off the streets. Wrestling wasn't glamorous back then, but as a good-looking kid with a wild and rebellious attitude, it was easy for him to make a name for himself. And over the years, that name has become synonymous with wrestling
In November, Piper released his autobiography, "In the Pit with Piper," which explores a wrestling world that few have ever seen. "When I started, it was 300 people in a garage, not the packed arenas it is today," Piper says. "There were no dressing rooms, maybe two restrooms where guys like Earthquake and Tugboat were doing their business, and sometimes you had to step over dead people to get to the ting. It wasn't pretty."

With his wisecracking tone and a presence the television cameras loved, Piper became a top draw in the U.S. and abroad.

He was brought to New York by Vince McMahon Sr. in the early '80s as one of 25 wrestlers chosen to lead the industry into the future. With WWE, his "Piper's Pit" interview segments were a huge hit, as he and Hulk Hogan developed one of the biggest rivalries of all time. Piper was a monumental player in the original Wrestlemania, taking on the heel role against the popular team of Hogan and Mr. T. "I wouldn't take a dive for Hogan or Mr. T, and I wouldn't let anyone tell me what to do," he says. "I would never conform, because I was taught not to."

In the late '80s, Piper, who has never had a good relationship with Vince McMahon Jr., became disenchanted with wrestling as the boss' antics became: too over the top. "In my day, the Vince McMahon kiss-my-ass club would have never happened, he would have been slapped," he says. "The stuff they have today isn't appropriate for the youth. They have some 350-pound Samoan sitting on your face with a thong. You couldn't pay me enough for that"

Piper lives in Portland, Ore., with his wife, Kitty, and his four children, who he calls the loves of his life. As for his future in the business, Piper offers this warning to McMahon: "Tb help the business, I am going to stand up, and I'm about to roar."

We caught up with Piper recently to discuss his book, his relationship with McMahon, and what it would take to lure him back to WWE.

WRESTLING DIGEST: Why did you decide that this was the right time for a book about your life?

RODDY PIPER: I did the book to let folks know, from my perspective, really how contemporary wrestling came about I had a chance to browse through some of the other guy's books, and they did a great job, and I have all the respect in the world for them, but they didn't have the history of what went down and where. I wrote the book from the heart I did it all from memory, and it was the hardest thing I think I've ever done. I put it out there for a few reasons. I'm not going to tease anyone--of course there's a monetary reason. But I want to make things better for the future. I am trying to come from a little different place, and I am trying to get my friends taken care of.

WD: Taken care of how?

RP: I thought, "What can I do for wrestling to say thank you?" and the best thing I could thin: k of was to leave a little bit of a legacy to help my friends. We've got 44 acres of land and we have the Healing Center ready to go. Any wrestler now, no matter what stage of his career he is in, can go there and get help, free of charge. The book will help with that.

WD: You mention that most of the book is done from memory. When people tell stories, as time goes by, the stories and memories get embellished sometimes. And you did have your share of blows to the head. Did you have a hard time accurately recalling events?

RP: I tried not to embellish them. It's very difficult to believe, but I even had to take out a lot of stuff that was even more unbelievable. The sickness was the most important chapter to me because that's where I buried all my frat brothers. I've been sicker than them all, and I wanted to explain what that really was.

WD: You've led as interesting a life as one can have. What would you say is the craziest thing that has ever happened to you?

RP: There's stupid and there's crazy, and I have lots of both. I was in a lot of riots. I did this thing once where I was to play the Mexican National Anthem on my bagpipes. For three weeks I told people I had been practicing, and I get to the ring and I played "La Cucaracha," and the night never even got started because they rioted.

Also, wrestling a bear was no fun. Victor the wrestling bear was a 650pound bear and he was killing me. That was a bit of both--crazy and stupid.

WD: You talk about how loyal and loving Kitty has always been. Tell me what she brings to your life?
